Default The most active forum I've ever seen!!!!!

I am not a web forum addict, but have participated in a few in order to make decisions such as moving, and to get information on hobby such as aquarist, hiking, and brewing.

I have to say in my short time as a member here at homebrew, I am very impressed with the quick replys, I have recieved and also seen others reciever. For example, today I was posting on a guys post who is having an overflow problem, by the time I posted, there were 2 other posts.

To all members, senior, junior, etc, and moderators. Thank you for being so active. I will try my best to be as active and helpful as possible.

Welcome. Many of us have shown that being active is really all that's required. Being helpful is optional.

As he proves in his post.............................

I came here a couple of years ago (oh, geez, longer than that even, now!) looking for an answer to a really "dumb" question. But it was politely answered, and the beer was good in the end.

I would have never thought about going AG brewing and buying my own grain mill and kegs without these goof-balls egging me on. Wait, I mean these lovely homebrewers being so helpful and encouraging. Yeah, that's what I meant!

I came here with a question, and stuck around and ended up really liking this place!
So, welcome! Glad to have you!

Hey, not fair. He didn't ask for any help.

Ok, here's a tip. Don't throw toothpicks in urinals.
Why?
Crabs can pole vault.

I am a member of several forums (BBQ, Firearms, Cars, Fitness, Bicycling, etc)

This is the only place where noobs don't get flamed. People also treat each other with some level of respect here, unlike most other forums.

HBT is where I spend 95% of my time.

I don't think that is necessarily a problem. They are easy to get rid of, just douse the "affected area" with tequila and a couple sprinkles of sand. The crabs will get drunk from the tequila, start fighting and stone each other to death with the sand. Problem solved!
