I understand the logic behind deleting threads and i completely agree with it. But I'm still not clear on the ban from deleting our own posts (not threads) unless its a software limited package deal or something.

I understand wanting to avoid people being upset and contacting you if they delete a post and want it restored, but that still seems even less of a hassle than having every deleted post have to go through a Mod. I don't know how many deletes there are on a regular basis but I'm sure the ones people are upset about are far outnumbered by the cognizant and intentional deletes.

I don't mean to complain and thank you for everything you do and I can certainly live with however you deem fit to run HBT but I don't understand the removal on post deletion.
