Just got this in the mail today...
"The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Androscoggin Bank Colisse to produce the first annual Maine Grains and Grapes Festival on June 21st, 2008 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, ME. Entrance to the festival will be limited to Maine brewers and wine makers only. At this point, Gritty McDuff's Brewing, Shipyard Brewing, Seadog Brewing, Casco Bay Brewing, Carrabassett Brewing, Tanguay and Sons Winery, and Stone Coast Brewing have already indicated they will participate. It is our hope that all Maine brewers and wineries will choose to join us."
"There will be two sessions, the first starting at 2:00PM on Saturday afternoon, and the second starting at 7:30PM. Doors will open a half hour before the beginning of each session. The admission fee will be $20 (if purchased in advance) and $25 at the door. One admission will entitle the participant to 10 (ten) pours (4 ounces of beer or 2 ounces of wine)."
Blah blah blah... the rest of the letter is regarding my winery participating... but you get the point...
I'm hoping to go myself, and I think my wine will be available either way.
If anyone is interested or needs more information, call the Androscoggin CoC @ (207) 783-2249.
