Being from long island, a train ride to the city would be nice. Haven't been to any brewpubs there. Might have some friends that might be interested too. I would hope we would do this on A saturday nigt?

The city is the obvious answer then if people want to come from the tri-state area. I mentioned SI only because I know where Bobby M lives and figured it would be central between the 2 main groups trying to meet up. Plus Killmeyer's is awesome for beer, and overall fairly quiet this time of year which is conducive to a meet-up where people are looking to talk.

Since Fresh Kills landfill used to be the largest landfill in the world the joke and the smell will be around for a lot more than 10 years.

Ok, let's not turn this into a fight of the boroughs.
Piv, how was that tasting?! I really want to try Cigar City but was working.

I bought a growler of Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale @ Bierkraft a few weeks ago and it was delicious. Last night I tried Humidor Marshal Zhukovs Imperial Stout (excellent), Cubano Espresso Maduro (I liked Oatmeal more), Coriander Winter Warmer (very good), Mango IPA cask (didnt like it too much, not an IPA drinker plus I thought it was a little on the warm side), Double Cream Ale cask (too warm and I think it would be better if carbonated). I also tried Rodenbach Grand Cru which was sour if you are into that kind of beers but this was not from Cigar City.

This is going on tonight until 7 in LI.

Guys, I'll definitely try to make any meetup in the city or wherever but don't go adjusting for me just in case I can't make it.
