visiting Lancaster- Philly, PA
|
|
I'll be making a trip August 21-28 to the Lancaster-Phili area. I would love to meet up with some brewers and knock back a couple. I haven't been out of AZ in 10 years, so I don't get this opportunity often. Send me a PM

I think my wife is actually going to be out of town that week and I will be bored as **** looking for something to do so this might be a great idea.

Give me a shout - I'm always eager to meet fellow brewers. Lancaster Brewing Company, Iron Hill, Appalachian Brewing Company(Gettysburg and Harrisburg), Troegs (Harrisburg) and Stoudt's (Adamstown) are within reasonable driving distance of Lancaster.

Also, of note is the last Wednsday of the month (8/26) the Lancaster Homebrew club meets in the basement of the Lancaster Brewery for sharing our latest creations and talking brew.

Fine list but you forgot one of the best breweries between Lancaster and Philly. Your pennance is a bottle of Storm King.

Victory is a mandatory stop, but I'd include that in my Philly list:*
Nodding Head
Victory
Monk's Cafe
Yard's
Philadelphia Brewing Company
*And I'm sure to be missing a few.

I hope you enjoy your trip. Don't forget to try some Westerlyvn 12, or however its spelled. The spelling jokes and insults may now commence.
