Brew Competition around Pittsburgh
|
|
Does anyone know of any competitions around the Pittsburgh or Erie PA area?
I've done some websearches and I haven't found anything yet.
Thanks

Ditto for the same question but instead of Pa, insert "Cleveland, Ohio" area.

You can send an entry to War of the Worts through Keystone homebrew. Close enough.

I thought this would be a good first post for me. Hillsville PA is dead center between Pitt and Erie.
National Homebrew Day
Saturday May 2nd
The Johnson Club
Hillsville, Pa
Brewer can get there anytime after 8am
Gates open to public at 2pm
Tickets for public are $10 in advance and $15 at gate
Brewers who brew or bring homebeer get in free
Tickets can be bought at The PumpHouse & Vintage Estates Beer and Wine
So spread the word.
Homebrew contest will be voted on by the public.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
Keg toss competition
BBQ chicken & ribs & pulled pork for sale.
I need t-shirt sizes for those who would like one (email or call with sizes and amounts)
Camping available for brewers.
We need firewood if anyone can donate any.
Bring acoustic instruments for campfire jam.
Horse s hoes, ringers and bocce.
Thanks if you have any questions please call the shop or email.
