I want to go but I don't have the money for VIP tickets. Is the non-VIP section crowded/noisy? I don't want to spend all evening standing in line yelling at my girlfriend to be heard.

Last year we got the regular tickets and waited maybe 30 minutes in line. I suggest get there early to get in line. Its mostly all the same area, however the VIP gets there own bathroom plus food..

Once your in its not too bad. Some of the bigger brewery lines were about 10-15 deep. But most of the smaller breweries had only 2-3 people in line.
