Default Atlanta Beer?

Going to be in Atlanta in about 2 weeks. Going to Six Flags.

Any good brew pubs or bars I should stop at while I'm there? Gonna be a couple of guys that enjoy good beer joining me.

You could tour Sweetwater or Atlanta Brewing Co. and sample their brews.

I liked Max Lager's when they had a restaurant in Gwinnett, but I think it burned or something like that and it's not there anymore. They still have the downtown place to my knowledge. I've heard good things about 5 Seasons in Alpharetta too.

As far as bars go to, I usually go for the music. I really like the 10 High/Darkhorse Tavern, Smith's Olde Bar and The Earl. There are two Irish pubs I've been to, Fado and Limerick Junction, but they weren't really my speed; nice places though.

How could I forget Taco Mac??? It's definitely a chain, but their beer selection is phenomenal for a chain restaurant. I am a big fan of their Passport club.

Thanks.

I read the reviews on beer advocate and it looks like a winner.
