Default Ubuntu release

The release of Ubuntu 7.10 is tomorrow, or midnight tonight I bet. I was looking at the release party locations, and while there's none around me there are quite a few at micros across the country. So I figured I'd post it if anyone else runs ubuntu and likes beer.

Nice. I'm looking forward to the official release. Been using Gutsy Tribe 5 for a few months now. There have been several kernel updates and tons of library and software updates over the past few days...guess this explains a bit of that!

Same here!
Code:
zach@zach-linux:~$ cat /etc/issue
Ubuntu 7.10 \n \l

zach@zach-linux:~$
I just did the update with the update manager, actually worked flawlessly, I was impressed on that, usually I just go with a clean install.

I downloaded the iso as well in case some hardware wants to take a dump.

My beta release upgraded itself (via the update-manager). It was actually already upgraded to final before midnight last night.
