Default SAVOR: Craft Beer & Food Experience 6/5

Anyone going to SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience (sold out), this Saturday in DC? My wife and I are heading down. This will be our first time going. It looks like a great line up of beers and food!

Pjj2ba, My wife and I will be attending for the second year in a row. It's a really awesome event. I also have 2 extra passes for the IPA coast to coast salon because some friends of ours didn't get general tickets. If your interested let me know.

I'll be there. This is my first time...I quiver with lust, anxiety, and anticipation like a virgin on prom night.

What did you all think? I thought it was fantastic as usual. Some of my favorite beers were:
- Avery Depuceleuse
- Southampton Cuvee Fe Dleurs
- Dogfish Head Bitches Brew
- Foothills Brewing Sexual Chocolate

Also one of the highlights was this pic I was able to get with Sam the man himself: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=37127&limit=recent

Unfortunately I couldn't find Charlie P. anywhere.

First time at SAVOR last night. I will definitely return next year. It was really well done; my best brewfest experience to date. Although there were a lot of people it wasn't insanely overcrowded. The location is great too being a few steps from a metro stop. I think most of the food pairings were well done and very delicious, although they appeared to run out of or stop serving food about 10. I was a little worried some of the breweries would run out of beer. A few did with over an hour left, but most had plenty. Nothing like my experience at a Pints for Prostates event last year during the GABF where a ton of the good breweries ran out of beer before I could even get to them.
