Here is the main HBT competition thread.
This is what started it: Quote:
We decided to then: Quote:
Yes. It was agreed to stick to it exactly as written (save for your gear/efficiency adjustments & hop AA's). Then the call for more people went out: Quote:

Then the prize is the prize! |
Thanks for starting the dedicated thread! Do you want to mention the option of a mini-swap so we can compare some of the beers ourselves in addition to the feedback from the judges?

It isn't required or anything (obviously). Personally, I want to see how mine tastes before agreeing to spend the $$ to ship/ or receive. Regardless, I will swap in person with locals (Palefire lives real close to me, for example). |
Milds gone Wild. Awesome! :mug:

EDIT: (Or, maybe mine will be so lousy that I leave 3 gallons with you ...) |
Whaat... people brewing mild's without coercion or happy pills?! I know everyone says they love mild's yet no one seems to make them. I'd definitely be up for this. I just brewed a bunch for a little mild experiment I did a while back. All were delicious and I have a few more going as I type. What's one more? :D

I just brewed some of this up using AJ's primer. I'll be interested to see how it turns out. I saved a few from before. If it turns out well though, I'm drinking it. If it doesn't, I'm still drinking it. :D
|
I have never drank a Mild as far as I know. The beer sounds really good. And it seems like a nice easy brew day. If I can find the time for this one, count me in.
|
well d*mmit...i brewed this a few weeks before you came up with this....I had to sub goldings for fuggles.....
does that count? |
