Just a thought. I don't know if you want to push to far into the holiday season. (Late Nov through the new year) as peoples schedules probably get pretty hectic around this time of year and it may be a strain on the brewers and judges. Obviously I am not in communication with the people who will coordinate, but I'd think an early to mid Nov time frame might be a good balance between time to fill the pipeline, and bumping up against the holidays.
