#201- 1D Munich Helles.
#202- 10A American Pale Ale

I had to number the entries, as I won't be there to do that when they come in. this should help those receiving the bottles as they come in!
Got it, thanks!

AWESOME! thanx ChshreCat for the base recipe! AND thanx Yooper for getting this together!

Side note: I had to brew up a second batch of ChshreCat's Saison (with my modified hops and specialty grains) to get a batch for this competition! LOL We drank all of these even the ones I was saving (yes drunken night) at my last bbq! even the BMC's Loved It! kicked their butts and wives/ GF's drove home but EVERYONE loved it!!!

Just need a quick beer gun build to bottle this for competition! since I've gone to kegg'n!!

Sounds like some fun!

One question that I didn't see explicitly asked or implicitly answered was the comments from judges- will entrants receive comments and scoresheets for their brews? If so, is this 3x judges/scoresheets per brew?

Last one I entered I got back 2 sheets per beer. Regular BJCP sheets!

I'm not yet sure how many judges we have per flight. It will depend on the number of judges and the number of entries.

One tip. You guys are driving me absolutely crazy with the entries. Some of you send the Paypal from your wife's account, which is fine. But the email address isn't correct, so you PM me the email address. Or leave off the mailing address, and then later PM me.

I've had about 500 PMs in the last three days, and probably 200 emails. PLEASE don't make me sort through them, in order to try to track down the information. That's just simply not fair.

If you can't supply the information in this format:

Yooper/East/14B, 10A/mailing address/email address (if different than your Paypal email address)

AND pay the correct amount, then I simply cannot accept your registration. The paypal money will be refunded immediately, and I'll move on.

We're taking up to 600 entries. If I have to spent more than 15 minutes on each one, that's not fair.

I've spent about 30 hours just on registration, and mostly it's because of incorrect email addresses that don't match the paypal addresses, or not having the HBT ID on there, etc. I'm trying to be patient, but I also am trying to have a life outside of registering this competition.

yooper!!
i'm going to paypal you some beer money as a "thank you" for your hard work.
i'd send beer, but i am slammed at work.
if you want it to go to a separate email, just PM me.

and no, it is not a bribe-- the judging is anonymous by other people.

If I pre-break them, will Yooper substitute her latest brew?

Heck, no. I don't want any money at all. I was just venting a bit. I'm getting tons of emails/PMs with bits of pieces of information, and it's very difficult to wade through. That's fine, but I got a couple of not-so-nice emails (NOT from the people who posted here!) saying, "I never got my form!!!" and it was because I had those issues I mentioned. A paypal with no HBT ID on it, and several with no addresses. One was the wrong amount and insisted it was correct, etc. Then I send back an email asking for the information, but it turns out the paypal email is a different email than the one they use, so I got a PM concerning it. I don't even know WHO some of the "problems" are- because they don't identify themselves, and then ask me why they haven't heard back! Well, let's see- no correct email address, no address to register, etc. I get "I told you in a PM!". Yes, well, I got 500 PMs since Sunday. That's why we're doing this via email, in one place on the paypal form. I'm usually pretty patient but it's making me crazy. I knew it would be lots of work, though, so that's really not a problem.

Anyway, the bulk of the registration should be about done and there are a few people still waiting for their forms. They should get them all by noon tomorrow.

Thanks for letting me express myself, and then please proceed to keep registering for the competition! Thank you!
