Default NJ/PA - Anyone notice no competition at Splitrock this year?

The splitrock great beers of America beer fest always had a homebrew comp and it was always highly entered. No comp this year! Bollocks. This was one of the comps the WHALES really liked.

Yup, saw that. Last year I had some email correspondance with one of the competion organizers and he said then that he was tired of dealing with them and almost cancelled last years. Looks like he had enough.

Warrior is in charge of organizing a competition that will be about the same time down in the Lancaster area. I don't know the details other than the beer will be shipped to Lancaster Brewing Co., I think by Oct 31st.

We're going to use the Stony Creek competition as a sub for now... I wonder if Splitrock will ever do it again.
