NHC 2011 HBT Member Get Together Invitation
|
|
Hey all, it has been talked about here and there, so I figured if we're going to do this, then let's make it official! I cordially invite HBT members to my house on Thursday morning for a get together from 9:30am - 12:30pm. To avoid putting my address up as spam-bot searchable information, post here that you would like to come and I will PM you my address. I am almost exactly 15 mins east of the hotel, so leaving my place between 12:00 and 12:30 should give use plenty of time to get back before the opening toast.
I have two dogs (Border Collies), so whereas children and spouses are more than welcome to come as well, just be aware that my dogs are not around kids ever so they may think your children are sheep or some sort of evil force sent to our house with the sole purpose of being evil little smelly things... Neither has ever bitten anyone, so don't worry there, butI will try to keep them out of the way of the general populace anyway. Again, just wanted to forewarn you!

Is pretty much how we explain our dogs to people coming over the house.

I may be able to make it. I have some plans with fellow club members tomorrow night that may render me useless first thing in the morning. I'll try to meet up with someone with a car for the trip over. Everyone knows my stupid face by now right?
No?
<---- this. Damn, now I have to walk around with refractometer eyeglasses.

Very cool and really nice of you to open up your place Grem...
I would love to pop in for a bit.
... and if someone wants a ride, let me know, I have a rental car but it is only a two seater unfortunately so I can only take one person.
