Brewer's Connection is hosting an event organized by the Arizona Society of Homebrewers. It was a lot of fun last year, and I'll be trying my best to get over there and brew, if not I'll at least drop by and see what people cookin up.

I have a group of Chinese colleagues coming to my apartment in ChangZhou, China to brew a NB extract kit of peat smoked porter. I'll use YouTube videos and such to explain the all grain process for which ingredients are more accessible here. Starts at 1:00 at Yin Feng Yuan 7-1802, XinBei District. Even posted the AHA poster at work for it.

My homebrew club, The Wyoming Valley Homebrewers Club, is teaming up with the Scranton Brewers Guild, Waldorf Beer Club, Georgetown Deli, Breaker Brewing Company, and Simply Homebrew to put on a display of different brewing techniques.

I've got 5 friends coming over to learn how to brew. I'm making them each bring a sixer of craft beer and we're going to do a tasting and beer swap as well. I'll have two of my beers on tap. Should be fun.

I'm involved in an event in Manhattan called Performa Brew Pub. We are doing a group brew Nov 12th where attendees will get to check out different peoples' systems (including the Brewing As Art sculpture), ask us questions and drink some great homebrew. The friday after that, we are serving beer as part of the same event to ticket-holders at a mock speakeasy.

I used to live in Lake Worth....before I ever brewed though. I hope you had fun Bro!!
Today was another great homebrew holiday in Metro Detroit. I saw a lot of new faces at the event I went to, not just folks drinking but new faces brewing. There were probably over a hundred folks hanging out throughout the day.
I was really happy- My beers, apfelwines and meads were all greatly recieved, including year old habanero and burnt honey meads and 18 month old apfelwien.
ALthough with all the great booze there I got to try I thoroughly ****ed up my hop additions in my mojave red ale.....At least I know it still will be beer.

Was a good day, first time I brewed with other people. They had a homebrew class at 11am that had something like 30 people in it and 2 couples stayed for the brew off. One did an imperial brown, another a Hefe?, a stout that was going to be fruited and I did a Maibock (crap effeciency on this one, undershot by almost 10 points for 1.064.
