Last time I bought a goalie stick they only came in wood.

I bet we all have at least 30 seconds of greatness, to go along with our 4 minutes of mediocrity and the rest of the time we'll be sucking wind.

I'm with Yoop though, I got the beer drinkin' thang down cold.

Not a chance, Sport. Factual, honest reporting will have NO PLACE here. You will know you have done a proper job if the participants refer to you like the current administration refers to Rupert Murdock.

I would rather shave my privates with a cheese grater.

...but I'll make a deal with you... YOU find enough guys (or gals... sorry Yoop), get the ice time and I'll skate.

I would bring an extra face mask if I were you. It's been a while since I've been on the ice and my guess is my slap shots would have a little extra rise in them.

... AND... AND... I will bring my video camera so while we can't webcast it, I'll edit up some video and post it so people can mock you worldwide.

I can't skate, but I can drink, laugh and people, and provide more biased color commentary than Tommy Heinson. Unfortunately, mid-November also happens to coincide with another expected event in the_Bird household, so I think I'll have to pass.

My brother used to do that all the time. First shot was always at my face just to try to scare me. Worked pretty good too, when all we had were Gerry Cheevers fiberglass masks. Those hurt like a mofo when you got clanked. These days you hardly feel it when you get faced. Bring it on, Biatch.

Shaving your privates with a cheese grater?

So I guess you would be using the side of the grater that gives you the teeny tiney powdery cheese food product?

Another PTN/CB HBTalk opera. Today, on "as the lambic turns" Paul challenges Cape to a skate off with disastrous results. Cape complains about the wild yeasts boycotting his starter and babalu revokes both of their man-cards. A daytime emmy is in the works for this episode.

You know, I'm surprised at you. YOU were the one who started all the trash talk about what a bad ass on skates you are. How you were going to pull an Ulf Samualson on me.

Now when the gloves come off you pull your own sweater over your head and skate behind the linesman.

What a Nancy.
