I'll keep it in mind. It'd be nice to meet some new brewers.
Depends on where you are, you may be able to find someone to meet up with on the way. Ryan lives in PA just north of the MD line out near Route 1. A couple of guys live in Newark area if you're in that philly side.

If you're more in the central PA, then you're on your own. :P

Where you coming in from?

Beer is the mind-killer. Beer is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my beer. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see it's path. When the beer has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Hey Jet - you going down to the Thirsty Brewer tomorrow??

I just saw an email from Tom that it's wootown's september meeting (noon) and a group brew during the day.

I plan on going down. Drop me a call or text if you're going to make it so we can meet up and say hi. Let me know if you don't have my #.

I have it, but don't plan on renewing.

Yeah, but for half price -- i'll make that decision.

How does it work, do you just send me a coupon? Or do I just have to pay to renew with you?

Its buy one get one. So if I were to renew I would pay the full amount then fill out the form with your name and address and it would work as a gift subscription.

Stefin/Mike, whoever Al does not go with, I am game for the other 50% deal if you will renew. I also agree that the content has been real spotty lately, but for 50% off, I'm in.

Crap. Missed this. Had a busy weekend with the family.

I'm sort of out of brewing commission for the foreseeable future. At least a year. Spending got out of control (bought an iPad and two awesome 10 gallon cornys) and I sold my kettle to get parts to convert a keggle. Then I started to look at how much I've spent this year and how far in the hole my "allowance" is. Can't justify buying the hardware to convert the keggle. It's going to take at least a year to build my reserves back up. Half my discretionary money is going to paying off the iPad.

I still have the 4 gallon pot I bought 15 years ago when I started with extracts. So I MAY be able to convince the wife to let me do a kit once in a blue moon. Haha.
