It was a good contest, 90 entries, pretty good for this year. Only 11 judges though, they were well lubricated after. The first was an Octoberfest, second was an American IPA, and third was an Imperial. Funny though, they waffled between 1st and second for quite a while before they chose, and it turned out they were both from the same guy. I got to sample a few while stewarding, and it was quite an experience. I learned a lot from the judges about taste, and ingrediants that do what they do. I would recommend the experience for someone wanting to learn about beers.
