I'm about as green as they come, but I'll sign in per 98EXL's suggestion. I'm in Charlottesville, VA.

Hey all,

I'm in Columbia (Howard County - UncleSamsKid, no reason for us not to get together, eh what?), doing partial-extract brews on my 'lectric stove.

I'm happy to meet up with whomever, whenever. In fact, I'm going to see Harry Potter tomorrow (Thursday) night with buddies; anyone who wishes can come to my place beforehand for the official tapping of the Harry Potter Butterbeer. Yay! (And, of course, to come see the movie with us after).

Let me know if you're interested.

Cap'n, I am brewing this Sunday if you (or anyone else) is interested in joining me. Let me know if you are so I can shoot you a PM with my address and maybe pick up some snacks.

I'll also be at Maryland Homebrew in Columbia to pick up supplies, today (Thursday the 12th) at about 4:45 pm, if you want to meet face to face and shoot the sh!t.

the SWMBO is playing a tennis tournament in Columbia this weekend, and I am going to see if I can hit MHBS while I'm over there.

Well, I'll be at MDHB around 5 today, begging them to teach me how to use my kegging stuff, so if you're around, I'll see you then! (I should be wearing a blue hawaiian shirt--- it's how The Cap'n rolls...)

See you there. I'll be the guy of sub-average height in a blue uniform.

Firebrewer...is MDHB the closest HBS to your? There aren't any in PA? If not, it sounds like a business opportunity.

There's Mr. Steve's in Manchester, PA (north of York) but frankly, MDHB blows them out of the water in terms of selection, customer service and shipping...I can order something from there and have it here in a day or two if I don't feel like dealing with 695/70/100. That and Mr. Steve's is about as far as MDHB from me.

Definitely a good business opportunity, plenty of places in Hanover to do it. If I only had the time (and money )
