Brewing competitions - accepted practice?

What is the accepted practice on bottle conditoning vs. bottling from a keg? Is there an issue with BC? I'm a newby thinking about entering one.

In my opinion it is better to send along a bottle properly filled from a keg than sending a bottle conditioned one, but both are accepted at comps.

Why?
Some beers are better aged and bottle conditioned.
Big stouts, porters, Belgians etc all benefit from extended aging on "lees"

Sure many beers are better PROPERLY bottled from the keg but there are also many that benefit from proper bottle conditioning.

Less chance on getting dinged for appearance if the yeast gets suspended for someone mishandling a beer prior to it being placed in front of judges.

I too would rather have bottle conditioned beer vs beer bottled from a keg.
