Warren/Sterling Heights, MI
Hey, I'm headed that way tomorrow. I'll be there until Fri morning.
Anyone up that way want to go for some brews? :tank: As always, the first round's on me...(entire brew clubs not included...:o ) |
Two places that are go to hit are.
Kuhnhenn Brewery & Winery http://www.kbrewery.com/ and Dragonmead. http://www.dragonmead.com/index.htm :mug: |
Thanks. I remember reading about Dragonmead.
Which is better? |
I would hit Kuhnhenn first. It has the pub type atmosphere vary cool no smoking allowed. It's also a home brew supplies.

If you head a little west from Sterling Heights you can also hit Rochester Mills Brewery in Rochester, MI. Last time I was there they had a Belgian Triple that was excellent. They also have decent food. There's a smoked fish appetizer that can feed a medium sized family for dinner.
BTW, if you're drving from Sterling Heights just head west on M-59 (I believe its called Hall road on the east side) until you come to Rochester road. Go north on Rochester road into downtown Rochester. I believe the Brewery is on 4th St (east of Rochester Rd). |
Sorry, didn't notice the date of your post. Guess you've already left town. Well, maybe next time you're in the area ...
|
Yep, there and gone............
Dragonmead was alright. :D |
