I went the past two years and it's pretty much the same thing every year, aside from a few new beers. It's a great experience if you've never been but after going to the winter fest multiple times I'd rather just save some coin and go to the summer fest since it's closer.

Not much like the beerfest we have here. Just a promo for the mega breweries.. they say over 70 different beer. Yeah right. Only a handful you could actually consider worth drinking.

How do you BBQ an elephant....first you get your elephant....
Ill be there, if i can recomend some bars to visit i would go to the bob they serve there micros on the 2nd floor then the Hop Cat(ionia st)
(they have the bobs beer there) they have like 50some micros on tap and from there founders is only a short walk down the road and usually on fridays they have live music playing...but being downtown those are really the only 3 micros your gonna find
I'm sure all the bars will be packed tomorrow night, I hope we can get a decent spot.
I will keep an eye open for you. I will be in a black winter coat with a winter hat on! Oh and probably not too sober myself!
