If you don't have the 10 min it takes to post the results on the web then you shouldn't be in charge of a competition. People pay money to enter these comps and it is courteous to post results for them in a timely matter.

I was there as a judge. I don't remember the names of the winners off hand.... but they should be mailing you your scoresheets and ribbons. They rarely update their website. You could try emailing the coordinator and just ask him for the results.

Well at least we know the competition went down! Do you remember what beers got BOS? As noted earlier many of us have emailed the coordinator with no response.

Rarely update the website? Ok, I'm convinced it's a pretty low rent comp then. I take back the defense I provided earlier.

They update their site enough to announce the comp. Now how about announcing the results?
A bunch of us emailed him, nary a response. However, I emailed him before the comp and got a response so I know he is out there in cyberspace somewhere.

BOS went to an Old Ale, 2nd a hefe and 3rd a Kolsch. Although I could be mixing up 2nd and 3rd. I tasted the Kolsch and it was one of those beers that just made you go wow.
I judged the smoked beers, and man there was this rauchbier that was just fantastic. Best I've ever had. I think it got a combined score of 43-44 and made it to some of the last rounds of BOS.

yeah it was probably a tad understaffed. But I thought it went down pretty well. I don't know what's taking so long but I bet you guys can wait another day.

I assume you entered one?
Man, I shouldn't have even asked. A guy from our club entered a Kolsch and now I want to know even more!

There was some really good beer there. Out of the 2 categories I judged, I only found 2 beers offensive, which is probably better than any other competition I've been to. Most were in the high 20's to low 30's.
All the beers that did not get 1st in their category(go to BOS round) were taken to the after-party and quite of a few of them drank. There was some good stuff in there.
