So Im curious on your thoughts and what you would have done...even thought im new and know no one here 
So I went to gamestop to buy a headset for my 360..they had a wireless for 29.99..thought they were 50...asked the clerk..she said "nope they dropped to 30.00 cool. Fast Forward 4 hours..I hate this thing and want the normal head set...back to gamestop..different guy. "she rand you up wrong so it should have been 50.00"..i said I know, advised him i paid 29.99 and to just give me the 20.00 head set and the 8.00 difference. Clerk "yea but it cost 49.99..i have to exchange it for what it is...so I dont owe you 8.00..I owe you 32.00". I advised again i only paid 29.99 and he argued it was 50 a few more times and I said fine. Walked out with a head set AND 32.00...so was I wrong here? I even tried to tell him he was wrong lol

lol. Awesome! I wouldn't feel bad. If you tried to correct the mistake several times and he wouldn't listen, then you have done your due diligence. I'm not sure if you had your receipt with you, but even if you did, I'm not sure they would have done anything differently. Consider it karma. You must have done something nice for someone lately. If not, then pay it forward.

Thats the best part..the kept my original receipt. I showed him but he kept saying he had to refund me from the 50.00 it cost, not the 29.99 i paid

I applaud your honesty. And I can't believe his stupidity. You did the best you could to set it right.
One question though. If he had SHORTED you the $20, what would you have done??? My guess is you would have kept arguing and perhaps demanded to see the manager. I am not saying I would have done anything different than you did, I am just wondering what most of us would have done had the situation been reversed.

You tried to do the right thing, multiple times, and they wouldn't take it. I say that you did all you could and don't worry about it.
What you should have done thought was take that $50 and put it towards a set of turtlebeach headsets.

You did the honest thing and told him he was giving you too much money. He gave it to you anyway. What can you do, stuff it in his underwear? 
The only thing I'd do is spend the extra $32 at Gamestop for good Karma.

Maybe he store is a front for some rich cat trying to lose money for a write off.. OR maybe money laundering..
More than likely, it's a govt operated store....

I almost bought the turtle beach headsets...i hear they are awesome
yea i tried everything, just initially felt bad..and if it were reversed then yea id been pissed lol
