Just read this for the first time. Very sorry you and your wife had to go through all of this, but I am extremely happy it turned out well. I know how important the difference is between 'an OK doctor' and a 'good docotr'. I'm glad yours seemed to be a good one.

Also, na zdrowie! (cheers) for keeping your wife where she needs to be (i.e., not moving from room to room). A lot of people would just stay silent to not 'cause a scene' and it's a terrible thing. Sometimes, a 'scene' needs to be caused.

Prayers to you and yours, and I'll make sure to have a drink as well!

Brought her home today. Every dip and crack in the road for the 1 hour drive was brutal, but she's a strong girl. It made her nauseated as hell. Got her meds filled on the way, got a new hand held shower head and went home. Made her some soup, set her up in her brand new electric recliner and she crashed for a while and I installed the shower head. She's asking to get a shower so I'm going to finish this well deserved IPA (Ranger IPA, good stuff) and get her in there. I guess I'll get in with her, but I'll behave myself. That will be a first.

You guys are great. After she levels off, I'll show her this thread. She knows beer drinkers are the most fun people alive.

Yay! I know you are looking forward to the day when she's feeling well enough that showering together just sounds fun, rather than necessary. Please don't post details when that happens, tho...TMI. Lol.

On a serious note, I have to point out how great you are being to her. Lots of folks have a hard time dealing with their own worries and fears in a way that makes then available to support their lived ones. It ain't easy! You deserve some applause... She's lucky to have you.
