Default What permit do you need to sell bottled drinks containing purchased alcohol?

A friend of mine is an aromatherapist (it doesn't make any sense to me, but whatever) and was wondering if she could try selling some aromatherapy-inspired liqueurs. No distillation would be required - everything would be done using commercial alcohol (bottled everclear, probably) and filters. Does anyone know what permit would be required to sell this?

Any chance you know what the cost of these are for Wisconsin?

It depends on the municipality. http://www.revenue.wi.gov/faqs/ise/atlicns.html

Have your friend call the city clerk's office, and they'll give all the details. Each municipality decides how many liquor licenses to give per city/township. If they are "full", you can't get one. If not, they have a set cost.
