What other hobbies do you have?
|
|
I was wonderig what other hobbies you guys have. I used to make rockets. I've been making the small ones again, but use to fire off the ones that need an FAA waiver. I have also played around with knife making and quilting. Outside of that my wife, parrot and dog keep me pretty busy. If I had a place to do it, I would be bladesmithing. Making knives from kits is a lot of fun, but I like the forging route. Right now I am also Geocaching. Anyone do this at all. Loads of fun and gets you out

I enjoy making knives, messing around with my tractor, pretending to be a pirate, things that go BOOM! I like eating animals that are lower on the food chain than I am. I like art and literature and porn. I dig the smell of the pavement when it first starts to rain, and the sunset on my farm in the summertime.

I did woodworking for 10- 12 years but since have sold my equipment. I then starting building and repairing computers for family and friends and recently been playing with recording standard and high definition broadcasts on my computer. A personal TIVO.

My hobbies run in cycles. There's too many of them to handle all at once. Other than homebrewing, the short list right now is learning to play the guitar (and working on them), gun collecting, cooking, home improvement projects, and riding my motorcycle.
Don't know if you would call learning a foreign language a hobby, but I'm also learning Spanish. I also love to travel, especially to New Orleans.

I do woodworking when the garage isn't a mess. I also have 4 corn snakes.
Oh and once in awhile me and the kids launch model rockets.

Photography is probably my number one overall hobby followed by music and cars (working on, learning about). Also been a railfan my whole life through since my dad got me started at about 3 years of age.

Beermaker's got it dead on.
I watch a ton of horror movies, specifically zombie and 70s vampire flicks. Throwing around the idea of writing a book about the zombie cult, centered around the movies.
