TONS of lightning and thunder. Managed to move my dog inside before the crazy thunder struck. We'll see if I still have power in the morning. The only good thing is that so far, there are no high winds. Good luck to the firefighters, that sierra nevada terrain is going to make putting any fires out difficult.

my fam is back up there (right next to you on the map, just over Yankee Hill) and it has been a tough 10 years. What with four actual "abandon your house" forrest fires. Hope all goes well with you and hopefully my parents don't have to deal with it again this year.
The lightning seems to be right around the Paradise/Concow area, heading east by northeast. I'm sure they are veterans by now, but maybe a phone call wouldn't hurt.
