Default Which way do you point?

Neither here nor there and won't affect how I write it, but I've seen it both ways so just wondered the predominance.

Rick (Greater than)

Speaking as a math teacher, it is "greater than 10". To say "less than 10" would be incorrect. To say "ten is less than" would not be technically correct terminology, but it would be a true statement.

I prolly would'a posted it elsewhere had it been the one you were hoping for, YooperBrew. Of course, my posting it might have answered Fingers' poll and surprised SWMBO as well.

How could that possibly mean less than 10?

Yooper, you are not the only one who read the title wrong. I'm pretty disappointed myself.

I did greater than, because I know it's technically correct.

However, if this is one of those "how does your mind work" things (like the word "unionized") I was wondering who forgot to close their tags.
