Video Games
|
|
I've seen in a few other threads grown men alluding to playing video games.
I have to say I am guilty as well. I enjoy relaxing with a nice home brew and playing a game of Battlefield 2. It's the only game I play but what's sad is I only have the demo multiplayer version so it's just 1 level.
Anyone else playing any multiplayer games from time to time here?

I don't really have time to play anymore now that I have kids, but I used to play EverQuest quite a bit.
Now, about all I play is Baseball or Football on X-Box and that isn't too often.

There is only one truly great online game - BF2. I've been beta testing BF2142 for several weeks and just can't get into the futuristic stuff.
Word of warning... if "Liepo" has his sights set on you - your dead already. heh

I found the "Game Room" at work last week. Ms Pac-Man, Galaga, Golden Tee, and pinball.
I play alot of games, mostly PS2 but I have played some PC games like Civ 3, SWG, Half Life 2, and FarCry.

I enjoy BF2, as well as CounterStrike: Source, CoD2, Gunbound (yea, i admit it, I play Gunbound). The futuristic BF2142 just doesnt appeal to me, yet.
I used to be a console player, but over the past few years online gaming has gotten so good, i dont think i'll ever go back.
most weekends, after the ladyfriend goes to bed, i sit and play games and drink beer. sounds a little pathetic, but i always look forward to it.

I play a few xbox games. Splinter Cell has to be one of my faves - playing co-op with someone who has skills is awesome fun. Farcry and HL2 on PC totally rock as well.

I wasn't impressed with FarCry. You had to use your nightvision goggles way to much and the battery life just sucked. A friend of mine said to turn up the brightness on your monitor and you can see fine but I think that's just a PITA. One of the few games that I had no desire to complete, not counting games that are just complete crap like Blitz: The League.

Not pathetic at all! I have several childhood friends who live on the other side of the country that I would have completely lost track of if it wasn't for online gaming. We all get on a private Teamspeak server, join a squad, down many beers, and have great times! Its like we are all there together...
