Default The ultimate horror!

A local organization is putting on an Oktoberfest this weekend. The food, the costumes, the Oompa band ...

but no beer.

What's wrong with the Catholic Church?

Although it might just be OLCC's fault.

There is no Christmas anymore and you can be sued for suggesting such a thing.

There are no decorations, songs, costumes, etc... allowed at the non denominational, non religious winter solstice party

You should also bitch them out for having an Oktoberfest at this time of the year... Would they celebrate Christmas in November?

What oompah band would play without beer! When I book a gig for our group, we always get food and beer as part of the deal. No beer, no gig!

There is going to be the same thing happening somewhere around here! I was disgusted when I found out about it.

How weird. I grew up in a catholic family, and almost every church function had some sort of alcohol for those of age.

The hypocrisy of them banning alcohol at this event but then going and drinking wine in church every sunday and calling it blood, is comical.
