Default Typewriters

I collect vintage manual type writers. Pre-70's. So if you have one collecting dust PM me. I finally got room to showcase them so I've started back acquiring them.

Here are a few of mine. The black Rand was owned by Frank Hame r.

Is such a collection common? How did you get started?

We had a cool Smith Corona when I was a kid. Actually played with it enough to get not too bad at typing before moving on to the computer. I really doubt my mom still has it, and it's probably not worth much of anything, but it was in great shape (I even cleaned the hammers once in a while) and worked flawlessly.
