I can't decide whether I leave them in stunned, open mouthed silence or if they just simply wander off muttering under their breath. In any case, I'm usually left standing alone with a small piece of parsley between my teeth.

I've probably killed more threads than anyone else participating in this inane discussion thread killing while trying to kill the thread...
When I get to the is my beer ruined thread and post a link to a blog that explains that they're beer isn't ruined and they are being silly...that usually ends it, without even a "thank you, you're right."
Occasionally the OP will come back and say that, but mostly it's just my lonesome on the bottom of the thread...
