allrecipes.com is my go to site. recipezaar.com is pretty good too.

+1 to allrecipes.com. It reminds me of this site a lot. User submitted recipes with reviews and other people's variations. . .

I personally choose Epicurious as my favorite. Then again, I tend to solicit recipes to get ideas, and end up doing my own thing using the base recipes as inspiration. It usually ends up edible.
