Post your locations.
|
|
This is more of a suggestion to posters.
Don't be afraid to add your location to your handle or include it in your post.
We have members from around the world and we shouldn't assume everyone is from the lower 48.
Here are some other topics where geography matters:Fermentation temperature strategies
Groundwater temperatures
CO2 prices
Shipping
Online HBS that best suits your needs
Corny keg availability
Hop growing
Currency
Weights and Measures
Time
Customs
Equipment availability
Gatherings
Beer Swapping
Laws (I'm looking at you Utah!)
Available Regional Brews
Brewery and Pub Recommendations
Plus we can't stalk you if we don't know what the restraining ordinances are in your locale.

This is where it would be nice if Tx added subforums for Alaskans, Hawaiians, Canadians, Brits, Euro's, Asians, Kiwis, Orpheus, Etc so that they can coordinate their own trades, meets, clubs, and for-sales..

It's also really nice to know where people are so that others in the area can co-ordinate get-togethers. I've had great times brewing with folks that I have met here, and I know that other sub-groups that seem to have formed out of this community (like SNIZZLE) would say the same.

We have that:
http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f19/shout-out-homies-2886/?highlight=homies
This was more in reference to someone asking....
"What online home brew store should I use?"
That answer really depends alot on where in the world you live.
