Default Politicians who cross posted and keep out signs for your votens

For your votes, sorry bout the misspell.
Am i the only one who doesn't ignore campaigning politicians who
drive up unanounced after passing 3 very visible signs saying posted, no trespassing, keep out signs ?
Tis the season once again !
I just sent another one away with tail between his legs.
I figure if they can't abide by the law now what will they do if elected to represent the people !

The laws are different in different localities but in general campaigning is not considered soliciting or trespassing. In many cases campaign workers may decide not to go up to a house with a "no soliciting" sign but they generally are not required to skip your house.

Again, it depends on local laws but political campaigns are exempted from a lot of limitations including do not call lists and other restrictions.

People just aren't decent anymore. Politicians are especially bold because they rely on your votes to have a job. Too many times money factors into the equation. It's almost like that is all that matters any more. Don't get me wrong, I don't live any differently and live paycheck to paycheck with an entire family depending on it. Was just thinking about how hard it would be to a recluse just wanting to be left alone in a mad world where no one cares about you.

I agree that there's too much money in politics but that's actually why I don't have a problem with door to door politicians. You're never going to see some multi-millionaire with a big fundraising machine doing it. It's going to be the guy with a small underfunded campaign. If anything, that kind of campaign is the remedy to the corporate funded politicians. Of course, that's kind of a pipe dream these days but I'm for any step we can take to get some of the money out of politics.

Yea, this thread can only go in one direction. I'm going to close it since the OP can't access the Debate forum.
