Default Pappy 12 Year?

Recently I made a pretty cool discovery... Turns out W.L. Weller twelve year is the exact same recipe as Pappy Van Winkle 15 year. Weller is $25 a bottle compared to $95 for Pappy 15 if you can even find it, which is a big if.

And now for the bad news.. Buffalo Trace is discontinuing the twelve year Weller so if you can find it buy it up while you still can.

WL Weller is good stuff. Even their cheaper "Special Reserve" Bourbon is a very good house whiskey.
