Totally new to the world of brewing but jumping in with both feet. I'm buying some plants this weekend and growing my first ever hops. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

Any ideas for a first time grower as far as what beer I want to make? I want to brew an ipa and a pale ale but am wondering what hops to grow.

Cascades grow well and are used in a lot of recipes.

Welcome to the group. Read all the stickies, they are very helpful. Once you've read about the basics, ask away, this is a tremendously helpful group.
