Default Need some help, research on a tap handle?

So, my parents gave me this tap handle for my kegerator, and I can't seem to find any info about it (the brewery, the year it was made, etc. etc.)

I believe it's from Haffenreffer, but I'm unsure exactly the time period.

Any info you might have on the brewery, the beer, anything would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Boston Brewing Company. Not the same company around now that makes Sam Adams.

So this tap handle is at least 50 years old?

I edited my post to take the date I had out. Boston Light Ale was made until 1964 from what I've found. And I'm finding some references to it being "Boston Beer Company" and some saying it's "Boston Brewing Company".

Still, it's at least 45 years old then? Wow.

Very cool! I also have a vintage Haffenreffer tap handle that was just given to me (circa 1950's at the latest) and we are looking at some pickwick ale glasses from around the same time period. Who knew we had such cool stuff laying around the house.

Then again, it could be a souvenir of The Boston Light itself.
