Default Need help with corn fermentation

Was wondering if anyone has used corn( cracked or milled) along with some rye grain to make a wash for distilling??
My issue is that since corn has no amylase enzyme and would need it to convert starch to sugar.
Would it be ok to use half corn and half grain ( this case rye grain) together with hopes that the amylase in the rye would convert the starch in the corn to fermentable sugars???

Anyone here have his issue??

My alternative is to buy amylase enzyme and add it to help the conversion.

Distilling is a bad word here, don't ask.

There was a good link posted that can help with your issue.

Our rules specifically state "no talk of distillation".
