Very cool looking, like the double handle. How big are they and what are you going to use them for?

They're Gallon Jars, really very cool, great condition, AND CHEAP! lol

I'm going to be using them for Brewing Cider, and maybe more depending on how well that goes!!! Never brewed before, so it's all an experience!!

I also obtained this (see attached) from the guy I bought the Demijohns off of. It's around 3ft tall and is shaped into a Woman holding a drinking vessel on her head...pretty cool too (especially for £5), NO IDEA what the hell I'm gonna use that for?! Suggestions?!

I've got a load of demijohns too, they are great for starters and small batches of beer/wine and for ageing .

Remember though if you are using them as a primary that you can only really use about 3.5l or so otherwise you'll get blowoff - I'd also measure out some water and mark on the volume on the outside.

good score, that's a good price - the best I've seen them is £2 each at my local car boot sale

Good advice. For cider, though, there really isn't any krausen so you don't need lots of headroom or a blowoff tube.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm gonna stick to cider, looks quite straight forward. I've looked at Beer...looks a total nightmare, maybe one day though!!
