Newegg.com - ASUS M3A78 AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards looks like it would be a good workstation motherboard and probably a mid line gaming board.

Newegg.com - ASUS M3N72-D AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 750a SLI ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards has built in SLi support if you are running dual video cards.

Both support 8GB of DDR2 1066 RAM and Asus has always made solid products.

There are plenty of choices under $100. I shop Newegg.com. Great prices, great gear, and their service is excellent. I'm sure there are others here with similar views.

I'd just shop them and pick one with the features you want. We could argue all day about who's the best.
