Metal God Guitarist of all-time
|
|
okay, who's the most ripp'n, shredd'n, loudest, fastest, biggest haired metal guitarist of all time?!?!?!
i may have to say it's Steve Vai or Yngwie Malmstein (?). Steve Harris of Maiden get's my vote for killer bassist!

Well, he's not really a shredder, but none of my favorites are. James Hetfield on rythm kicks ass.
Zakk Wylde is awesome, and my favorite duo is probbably Pepper Keenan and Woody Weatherman from Corrosion of Conformity. If you want to hear some smokin' blusey lead stuff, download a song by them called "Stonebreaker." It's off their new CD. I keep meaning to pick that one up.
Overall though, I guess I'll have to say Dimebag....may he RIP.

Zakk Wylde is awesome, Damn straight. I am a die hard BLS fan. NOBODY today rips it like Zakk, but all time, Randy Rhodes wasnt to bad, Eddie V is right up there too.

Yes, we all have our favorites, but this is a metal thread.

I'll have to ask my son on this one, but may I say that I thinks it's entirely appropriate that 9 posts in to this thread nobody has once mentioned the word "music".
