Hey, he is going to a university he doesn’t need to spell college.
Sorry man, honest mistake but what made it really funny was instead of correcting your spelling you changed the word.
(making sure I use spell check here…)

YUP, at this point I really don't feel like doing a spell checker, mostly because their are so many shot against it on the thread that the damage has been pertinently done :P
at this point whether or not other Schools have brewing programs matters little to us at this point because we are on our way to being starred as a club, and really, really, need to get new member's.

Why do you want to be an RSO? Is there any benefit to you being recognized by the university at all?

well for starters, for their to be a free home-brew club in Tallahassee (NFBL has a 20$ members fee), and to meet newer brewers local to FSU.
Id also like to see If I could start a Homebrewers library (either through small fees, donations, or money from the campus if we can get it) for members. That would reduce the cost of reading the books and make them more open to new brewers (thus improving their brew).
I would also like to organize road trips to beer festivals and breweries as well as use the club to see local breweries in action (like at Momos or proof).
those are my main reasons for wanting to start the club.

Fair enough I suppose. You might ask the authors of the books to donate copies to the club, I think you will get a favorable response.

Southern Illinois University used to have a class "Wines and Vines" in the ag program where you grew grapes and made wine.

It is worth mentioning that we have made the club happen......
well at least get approved. I'm too swamped by tests and HW right now to even start doing PR, but next week I start putting up Campus approved flyers, tabling at market Wensday, and chalking the sidewalks.
Still. I'm hoping that we get a lot of people who come out of the woodwork ^__^
