As you may know, we've been having a spot of weather out here in the pacific northwest. I work for a power company in their helpdesk, and we've been having some excitement here as well. While we're not working directly with linemen or anything like that, we do monitor network connectivity and make sure our various offices stay up and running. Fun times abound!

I come in to work yesterday and see a bunch of emails saying that until the storm damage is repaired we are now called the Emergency Action Center! Also known as... EACs.

And yes I'm posting from work.
