I just run my TV as a second monitor and use a wireless keyboard/mouse. 1080P works nicely through it

yep, building an HTPC is easy. just need a video card with the right outputs (which is getting easier with all the HDMI tv sets out there) and audio out to your stereo.

Dell's studio series PCs are tiny, and have a HDMI out option. I thought about getting one of those, but ended up building my own HTPC from spare parts. I'll have to try Hulu desktop on it. I currently just browse to hulu.com for their programing, or watch one of my DIVX files. I don';t use a tuner card, because my satelite has multiroom DVR
