Dead-zone. Wasn't feeling good Sat. morning & skipped Hopmadness. First time I've missed since I moved to Oregon.

The high-point so far was finding & nuking a yellow jacket nest. Buggers were attacking me while I was mowing the meadow.

Mowing the lawn. Oooohhh, fun. Then I need to de-label and wash about 200 bottles.

It's 9 :20 am on Monday morning and I'm drinking a PBR, SWMBO's at work, and I'm looking at a potential double brew day!

Not sure if it's gonna get any better without hookers.

I didn't really say that....Did I?

On Saturday I finally finished Mash Tun version 2.0 (which required a 2 hour drive to get my Bazooka Screen). Sunday I procrastinated quite a bit and didn't bottle two batches I'd planned on bottling.

So today, I've gotten an "early" start and I've got several cases of bottles soaking in Oxyclean right now waiting for a Star San rinse.

I might even get in a brew this weekend!

Mowing the lawn.
Sounds like a perfect excuse for a lawnmower beer!

I was going to brew a California Common, but I made a starter that never started, so that got postponed. I ended up making a batch of cider instead. Now I'm going fishing.
