Default HBT Fireman and those Interested

http://www.thebattalion.tv/

Goes into the lives of departments around the nation and spends 24 hours with them, 7 days a week, filming their "daily" activities... (they are on the East Coast now). Each Friday at 5pm they air a new "webisode" of "the Battalion", there are already a TON of videos posted.

There are some very interesting interviews as well as footage... for those of us in the service it's a cool look into what other departments face on a daily basis, and for those not in the fire service, it's a pretty decent view into the fire service and the life of a fireman.

It could be more in-depth (going more into the lives of the firemen and women), but the 10+/- mins each webisode is, it's worth the watch.

This reminds me of something you'd watch on the Discovery Channel, A&E, TLC or one of those type of channels.

Sweet! I'm in the midst of my background check for Toledo Fire Department right now.

Thanks. Brings back fond memories of a previous life over 25 years ago.

I like what they showed for Kentland. Those guys are nuts busy. Live in Vollys and 20-30 calls a day for the house.

They're also always at the top of the news for doing stupid **** and constantly thumbing their nose at PGFD. Wasn't really suprised to see them on there, they do whore some media attention. They do more to mire the reputation of and confidence in the fire department AND they also refuse to run EMS calls.

Sorry, I have no love for them whatsoever.

Nice link, Brauhaus. Gonna keep an eye on it.
