November 10th is coming up, and I just wanted to say happy birthday to all of my brothers and sisters from beautiful Al Asad. In honor of this special occasion, each Marine is going to be issued 2 real, alcohol-containing beers.

People are taking bets on what kind it will be. Probably just a can with a white label on it that says BEER, but who the hell cares.

It's insane how anal they are about passing this stuff out. I can, in all seriousness, get my hands on ammunition and explosives easier than I could get at the beer.

*edit* I was here last year this time. They had a pretty good selection. also everyone here was able to drink there 2 beers. not just the marines.
